The instruction text for the sculpture of thought ‚Lokonoize‘ was written in 1994 in the USA

The imagination was first exhibited in 1997 as part of the ‚Apart 23‘ exhibition in Basel. At that time, the sculpture’s platform was a stylized surface made with narrow marking tape on the surface of a parquet floor in a large empty apartment

The Thought Sculpture was presented to a wider audience for the second time during the exhibition ‚REtrOspektiv:JELTSCH‘ at the Gundeldinger Kunsthalle in Basel in 2000. At this time, it was fully equipped with a flat wooden pedestal onto which the sculpture’s imagination was projected, as originally planned

A video documentary of this exhibition was uploaded to YouTube in 2008. The documentary shows the room setup of the imagination
