„Little Moonlight Storage“ – artwork history / background information

‚Little Moonlight Storage‘ was created in the fall of 1992 and spring of 1993 while living in the USA

The black lettering instructional text was first revealed in 1994 on frosted, semi-transparent paper in Din-4 format. It was displayed as a poster in limited quantities in public spaces, particularly near public transportation stops

The Imagination was also published in 1995 in a similar manner, but this time in Din-A3 format in public spaces in Zermatt, Switzerland. The poster display hanging action was titled ’12 Little Moonlight Storages for Zermatt‘. This title refers to the number of posters displayed that winter

Shortly after, a larger version of this work was released, titled „Big Moonlight Storage“. The instruction text for that version only differed in size measurements

„Big Moonlight Storage“ is featured in the virtual online exhibition at the Alba.Imago.Museum, where it is located in open room space number fourteen

Note: In recent years, the Internet Archive has successfully saved and time-stamped the original text of this work. Furthermore, the text of the imagination was sent via registered mail as proof of existence (POE) to extend copyright protection
