Five basic drumsets are arranged in a circle to form a large extended drum set that can be played by a single person from inside the circle at an angle of three hundred and sixty degrees. All parts of the drum set are made of ultra-clear, seamless, transparent acrylic, and the extended circular drum set hovers one foot off the ground and rotates on its own axis at a moderate but steady speed.
But this drum kit is not played by a real person, but by some sort of invisible robotic drum machine operating from inside the circle, so all you can really see the machine starts drumming is a set of flying drumsticks swirling wildly at a frantic, excessive speed over the collection of toms, snears, and cymbals, creating fast, ecstatic rhythm patterns – but no sound can be heard aloud – the drum beats are heard only in the mind of the person projecting this installation of thoughts
